A chunky V neck sweater for women in 6-ply cashmere, with deep fisherman cables and a ribbed V-neckline.

  • 15.7 microns or finer. Finer fibers feel softer, and fewer coarse hairs means less itch.
  • 34 to 36 mm long fibers. Fewer loose ends, so it pills less and keeps its shape.
  • 6-ply fisherman cables. Our thickest knit, made for real cold.
  • Ribbed V-neckline, sizes S to XL, in navy, cream and ruby.

Six plies of cashmere make this our chunkiest cable knit sweater. The yarn starts with fine, long cashmere from Alashan in Inner Mongolia, then is knit into deep fisherman cables that hold warmth on the coldest days. The ribbed V-neckline keeps the heavy knit from feeling closed in, and it frames a collared shirt or a turtleneck underneath. Wear it as a light jacket over a tee in the fall, or with wool trousers and boots in winter.

Size & fit

A chunky 6-ply cable knit with a V-neckline. If you're between sizes, size up for an easier fit. Sizes run Small to X-Large.

Care

Hand wash cold with a gentle wool or cashmere wash. Press the water out without wringing, roll it in a towel, and dry it flat. Dry cleaning works too. Store it folded, not on a hanger. A heavy knit takes longer to dry, so turn it once while it dries. Read the full cashmere care guide.

FAQ

What does micron mean, and why does it matter?

Micron measures how thick each fiber is. The finer the fiber, the softer it feels. US law caps cashmere at 19 microns on average, and most sweaters sold today fall between 16.5 and 19. Ours are 15.7 microns or finer.

Will it itch?

Itch comes from coarse fibers pressing on the skin. At 15.7 microns or finer there are far fewer of them, so most people wear it straight on skin. Very sensitive skin may still notice it at the neck, and a thin layer underneath solves that.

Will it pill?

All natural fibers pill a little where they rub. Long 34 to 36 mm fibers have fewer loose ends, so pilling stays light and settles after the first few wears. A cashmere comb removes it in a minute.

How warm is 6-ply?

Very warm. Six plies make a thick, heavy knit that can stand in for a light jacket on cool days and keep you warm in deep winter.

How do I choose my size?

Choose your usual size. If you're between sizes, size up for an easier fit or to layer a shirt underneath.

How do I style a V-neck?

Wear it over a white tee or collared shirt, or layer it over a thin turtleneck in deep winter.

Pilling

A fresh perspective on pilling.

Every natural fiber pills a little where it rubs. Long fibers mean fewer loose ends, so it stays light and settles after the first few wears.
