This cowl neck sweater has a relaxed cocoon shape and dolman sleeves that are cut in one with the body. The soft cowl neckline keeps your neck warm, so you may not need a scarf. Our cashmere comes from Alashan in Inner Mongolia and is held to 15.7 microns or finer. Wear it with slim trousers or leggings to balance the fuller shape. Over it, a long coat like our double-faced trench keeps the look clean on cold days.

Will it itch?

Itch comes from coarse fibers pressing on the skin. At 15.7 microns or finer there are far fewer of them, so most people wear it straight on skin. Very sensitive skin may still notice it at the neck, and a thin layer underneath solves that.

Will it pill?

All natural fibers pill a little where they rub. Long 34 to 36 mm fibers have fewer loose ends, so pilling stays light and settles after the first few wears. A cashmere comb removes it in a minute.

How do I choose my size?

Pick your usual size. If you're between sizes, size up for an easier fit.

How do I wash it?

Hand wash cold with a gentle wool or cashmere wash, press out the water, and dry the sweater flat. Dry cleaning works too. Don't hang it wet, and don't put it in the dryer.

What is a dolman sleeve?

A dolman sleeve is cut in one piece with the body, so it is wide at the armhole and narrows toward the wrist. It gives an easy, relaxed shape.
